Behind AbsoluteOps is a team of real operators who genuinely love the work most founders hate.

We're not a big agency. We're not a solo consultant. We're a small, sharp team that gets inside your business and actually runs it with you.

We Are

AbsoluteOps is a fractional ops team for online businesses. We come in, build the foundation your business has been missing, and lead it with you until you're ready to build a full time team of your own.

We work with founders who have built something real but are still the ones holding everything together. The revenue is there. The demand is there. But the backend never caught up and there's no clear path out without hiring a full time team they're not ready for.

That's exactly the gap we fill.

We keep our client list small on purpose. Real attention. Real results. No account manager runaround.

We Value

We treat your business like it's our own. We're not vendors. We're not consultants who hand you a plan and disappear. We get in there with you. We notice what you don't have time to notice. We flag things before they become fires. Your success drives us because it's the whole point, and frankly, it's what gets everyone paid.

Straight talk, always. We say what we see. If something's broken we tell you. If a decision doesn't make sense we'll push back. No corporate fluff, no sugarcoating, no telling you what you want to hear. You hired us to help you see clearly, not to agree with everything.

We do the work. Not advise on it. Not hand you a playbook. Actually do it. Build it, run it, fix it, own it. There's a big difference between someone who tells you what needs to happen and someone who makes it happen. We're the second kind.

Serious about the right things. We're casual people who take the work seriously. Confidentiality, compliance, privacy, your data, your clients, your reputation. These aren't features we offer. They're the baseline we operate from. You'll never have to wonder if we're handling things properly.

Real people, real partnership. No jargon. No ticket systems. No getting passed around to someone who doesn't know your business. You get people who show up, communicate like humans, and actually give a damn about what you're building. We work with a small number of clients on purpose so everyone gets the attention they deserve.

Darci Lee, founder and executive operations partner at AbsoluteOps

Our Founder

I spent 15 years leading operations in finance and regulatory compliance and honestly, I loved it. Building systems and teams, designing roles, doing quality assurance, getting the back end of a business running smoothly. As I moved up, sitting at the table with leadership, driving the direction of the business, watching strategy come to life across every function. I thought I was going to be a lifer there.

Then I had my daughter. Long commutes and office life wasn't for me anymore. I wanted flexibility to work from home and corporate couldn't give me that. So I made the jump.

I met a female founder in the online space who needed someone to run her business. It was exactly what I'd been doing in a completely different industry. We aligned immediately. I came in, started running things, and quickly realized two things. There was so much foundational structure that needed to be built first. And once it was built, she didn't actually need a full time COO anymore. The framework was there. Things were moving. What she needed was a project manager and support person in those seats, with me leading part time. We pulled me out of the full time role, put the right people in the right seats, and her margins improved.

That was the moment everything clicked.

I moved into fractional COO work and kept seeing the same thing everywhere. I was being asked to run and grow businesses with no foundational framework underneath them.

Without that foundation you can't build, you can't optimize, you can't hire, you can't delegate, you can't hand anything off, and you sure as hell can't take time off. You can still run the business. Just not well. And you better believe you're answering a million questions and putting out fires every other day, because nobody knows where anything is, what anything costs, or who owns what.

It's inefficient. It's exhausting. And it was stressing me out.

So I stopped trying to work around it and started building the foundation first. Every time. Because once that's in place the fun stuff, the growth, the optimization, the strategy, all of that gets to happen.

That's how the four phase system was born. Not from a framework I read somewhere. From necessity. You genuinely cannot do anything else well without the foundation.

I built AbsoluteOps around that truth.

And that's when I realized this wasn't just my problem to solve for one client at a time.

Most founders want nothing to do with the operational side. This is genuinely what I love. Building the back end, watching it run, watching it make people's lives easier. That obsession is exactly why this works.

You build the dream. We build what runs it.
